| What has 30 cars, 45 people, six kids, and costs $450? |

The National Capital Fiat Club annual Pizza Meeting, of course. What started out as a small winter social event four or five years ago in the DC/MD/VA area--with nine Fiat owners--has come to represent the annual January gathering of DC Fiats regulars and an increasing number of new members. The 2007 gathering at Joe's Pizza in Fairfax, VA was no exception, with a great buffet at a great price. |
| 23 Fiats/Bertones, two Lancia Scorpions, three Alfas and one Ferrari Mondial (owned by an X1/9-er) graced the parking lot and drew a fair amount of local attention. Despite a slight chill in the air (it had been 73 degrees the day before!) the gracious staff at Joe's Pizza had to come into the parking lot to remind everyone that the food was ready. |

| Club President Todd Rosenthal briefed the group on the 2007 DCFiats schedule, and Jay McKellar described plans for the group trip to Italy and the d'Epoca Auto Show in Padua in October. Peter Calles donated a set of underhood electrical warning decals and Mark Santaw displayed his custom-made Fiat patches which netted a nice little nest-egg for the Treasury. If you missed it this year, watch out for the next one in January 2008! |
